The Proto Axis Pro Switch Paintball Mask is a premier paintball mask that is made of soft compression foam earpieces on an overall light frame. The beautiful part about this multi faceted ear system is that allows you to really hear your team mates and the action going on in the game without sacrificing ear protection.
Plus the Proto Axis Pro Switch is very comfortable to wear the overall framework is made of 2-layer soft foam making it very durable yet light and comfortable. In fact you’ll hardly ever notice that you’re even wearing protective paintball mask.
Of course like all paintballers, we need uber cool looking lenses and the Proto Switch Axis excels in this area. Featuring a patent pending fast change locking system you can change and switch lenses in mere seconds. The outer frame holds the lens in place with no extruding edge or protruding tabs while the inner frame structure provides a secure platform for the lens.
The Switch Axis Proto comes standard with a clear tirodial thermal lens and a co-molded combination density mask for flex under play. So if you are looking for quality cheap paintball gear that is built to last the Proto Axis paintball mask is the perfect choice.

Pros and Cons to this Paintball Mask
One of the best things about the Proto Axis paintball mask is its anti fogging abilities. This mask almost never fogs up. It doesn't matter if it is raining, cold, or 90 degrees outside you'll find you'll always have great clear vision without fogging issues.
Plus speaking and communicating is easy to do while wearing this mask, and your teammates will have no problems hearing you.
Changing lenses is fast and easy, with just one quarter turn of the knob you can pop in and out lenses with ease.
If I had to mention one drawback about the Proto Axis paintball mask it would be that this mask has a very low profile. So if you are a big guy with a big head, you'll probably find your neck exposed. Not a big deal and for most people this will not be an issue but it is something to consider.
But seeing as this mask is so light and comfortable to wear most players find this paintball mask and excellent choice for the best compromise between safety, comfort and play factor.
