Pros and Cons to the Tippmann 98

Best price in a beginners entry level paintball gun. The 98 custom offers superb value in terms of quality and affordability. You won't have to spend a fortune on a decent paintball gun, and there are so many upgrade options and mods you can do to this gun, that it'll last you a few years too, adding to the overall value. Which I think is great because you can easily use this for few years and not "outgrow" the 98 because you want a high end gun, you can simply just modify or upgrade the part you want and get more life out of the marker.

Durability is a 10 out of 10! Quite frankly the 98 custom is the Ak-47 of paintball guns. Drop it, throw it out the window (ok I'm exaggerating but I'm sure you get my point), get it dirty it doesn't matter this paintball gun will fire and shoot. In terms of reliability this paintball gun rocks.

If I had to mention a few drawbacks in the gun it would be this marker has a few small parts on it, so you have to be careful when field stripping it and cleaning it, plus I would say sometimes accuracy can be an issue but I would say that is mainly due to the stock barrel. It blows, so I highly recommend anyone who buys this marker the first thing you should do is upgrade the barrel. With an upgraded barrel you'll love your tippmann 98 especially for woodsball games.
